2 Day Kakadu National Park Tour

Day
One: Private charter tour program - you advise what time
you would like to start, but we suggest a 7am departure as you
are more likely to see wildlife along the way. Tour can be
by limousine,
deluxe four wheel drive or mini/midi coach depending on the
number of passengers. Don't forget walking shoes, shady hat,
sunscreen, camera and film. |

One hour Jumping Crocodile Cruise a cruise to
see the amazing jumping crocodiles in the Adelaide River, a
visit to the Window on the Wetlands visitors centre
and to Fogg Dam Nature Reserve.

Picnic Lunch on the
banks of the East Alligator River.

Kakadu National Park Entry is now free of
charge.

Ubirr Rock ancient art and habit site of the
Mirramar people and the site of the 5000 year old
Thycean dog painting.

Guluyumbi Cruise on East Alligator River:
Guluyumbi highlights the relationship between Aboriginal
people, their land and their culture. From the purpose built
boat, you cruise the spectacular East Alligator River, a
stunning ribbon of water which forms a border between Kakadu
- a world heritage national park, and Arnhemland -
Aboriginal land.

Headquarters and interpretive centre.

Accommodation - Gagudju Crocodile Holiday Inn
Hotel: The crocodile hotel is located in the small
township of Jabiru and is the only crocodile shaped hotel in
the world. ** Please note - In the event this hotel is not
available, a suitable alternative will be found and a visit
will be made to the Crocodile Hotels for

Two: There are later Yellow Waters cruises available if
you want a sleep in- we just think this is the best one!
Please let us know at time of booking if you want a later

Sunrise Yellow Waters
Billabong Cruise: An early start (0530) for the best way
to see the Kakadu wetlands. The water way is fringed by
pandanus, bamboo and paperbark you are likely to see
crocodiles, and many of the 360 species of birds and mammals
that inhabit this part of Kakadu. This is a beautiful time
of the day with the birds waking and the soft sunrise
colours on the water. Take camera and plenty of film. Time
for breakfast (own expense) after the cruise at the Gagudju
Lodge Cooinda.

Visit Warradjan Cultural Centre at Cooinda.
Enjoy a cold drink and a picnic lunch.

Explore Nourlangie Rock art and habitat sites
of the Gagudju people. Look out over the Arnhemland
Escarpment and the ancient stone country.

Enjoy the views at Anbanbang Billabong.

Return to your Darwin city hotel early
evening.
